Yes, it’s called a bona fide occupation qualification. It allows discrimination where it normally would be illegal. See the link below.

If you aren’t a member of a church (or that church), I wouldn’t think you’d really want to work there anyway.

yes, it’s legal. And if part of the qualifications are for you to share your Christian testimony and you dont have one, then how do you think you are really qualified for the job?

Yes. Churches are separate from the state, just as most want it to stay.
If someone is working in a church they need to be able to witness to someone who walks in, which happens very frequently.
