Not if you truly believe in God and the law and the separation of church and state and not if you truly practice your beliefs.
My family went to the same church for most of their lives. Even as a child, when I didn't understand, I asked questions. If the question was such that the church was not practicing the religion, I made it known. I refused to join the church and as soon as I was old enough to make my own decisions, I changed churches. Obama didn't do that. He stayed with that church and listened to that garbage and married a woman who believed that racially charged garbage and who wrote a racially charged thesis at Yale (which is now the only paper out of approximately 480 papers that were written that currently has restricted access due to its content). Obama took a vow of marriage to Michelle, for richer, for poorer for better for worse, in sickness and in health, so he can't distance himself from his wife without a huge politcial backlash. The same is true for the church. He claimed to be a member of that church and he looks to Wright as a spiritual advisor and an "uncle" and he claims to "love him". He took a vow when he became a member of that church and therefore, he can't distance himself from that church now just because the belief system has been exposed. He can't distance himself from his beliefs and from the fact that he doesn't practice what he preaches because he didn't change churches and distance himself from the teachings of a pastor that are still racially charged long before this. There is a song, "I see your true colors shining through" and certainly, as God's law teaches that the truth will come out -- Obama has been caught in the biggest lie of his life!

We don't need a liar and a sinner for President, one who preaches change but through his actions and his associations prove that the change will be bad change. If he doesn't uphold God's law, how can we expect him to uphold the laws of the land and the Constitution of the USA?

It would be if this were not a church you personally choose for your family to be raised in.... He choose it he stayed and wants his family raised in it.... the I would never allow my children exposure to such **** talk....Why would anyone take their children to a place that tells everyone they are not responsible for themselves and any failures to make healthy choices are not their responsibility....

Yes it's possible, but highly unlikely. People go to church to receive God's message to them. If they don't believe the message that the pastor is teaching, then they tend to go somewhere else. If your soul isn't being "fed" with the Word, then you aren't receiving the blessing that comes from attending church. If you are being "fed" the wrong message for you - then you usually go to another church.

Yes, it's possible and, unfortunately, alot of people go to church for social rather than worshipful reasons. But even a social Christian hears the sermon.

a lot of people find their preacher boring or whatever, but there is a limit to what a person can take. i don't think going to a ****** church for 20 years just because of family tradition is a good excuse, and that's not his excuse. obama's excuse is that he simply didn't hear these things. perhaps he was in the bathroom....each and every single time.

If there's hot female parishioners, judging from Obama's pick of a wife, I wouldn't buy that though.

Obama had to have heard the racial sermons that were given at the services over those 20 years, so either he was asleep at every one of them, or accepted the racial remarks.
